My Story
I started drawing and painting early on as a child. I was surrounded by pets in my childhood home. I believe that having grown up with pets and having witnessed the affection and the bond between humans and animals, it was only natural that I started painting these adorable furry friends. Inherently, pets became the focal point of my art.
At first, I only painted the pets of my acquaintances, however the year 2017 was significant for my art career. That is when I started receiving commissions on a regular basis and the feedback from my clients was encouraging and heart-warming. This was a start of a new chapter in my life and I decided to transform my precious hobby into a profession.
I have had commissions from all over the Europe. I’m a self-taught artist and after thousands of hours of painting, I have become a representative of realism, my paintings are an accurate depiction of the subject that I’m painting.
“During the creative process, I always endeavour to capture the true essence of each animal.”
The eyes are the mirror of the soul
It is said that the eyes are the mirror of the soul, and I can truly say that when I’m in the process of painting them, the animal on the canvas “comes to life”. The most important moment in my painting process is when the eyes are starting to take shape and I make the first eye contact with the subject that I’m painting. The eyes are created from the many precise and carefully placed brushstrokes. It goes without saying that bringing the eyes to life is the highlight of my painting process.
